Set the scene
Standing out like a giant, black Lego brick, the hotel is hard to miss, thanks largely to a colourful, commissioned mural by British artist Julian Opie smeared across its entire front façade. Guests enter to a dynamic lobby living room, eclectically decorated with contemporary art, abstract sculptures and modernist furniture (including a ridiculously Instagrammable marshmallow sofa).

Forget the front desk (there isn’t one) and check-in at self-serve kiosks, a streamlined and stress-free process that takes about a minute. If that’s still too long you can check-in via the CitizenM app and receive a QR code to scan at the kiosk to get your room key-card.
